The National Audit Office has completely re-vamped its Grade ll listed building opposite Victoria coach station, London with a special focus on a sustainable refurbishment.
The project which has effectively ripped out the interior of the building, has received a £35m overhaul.
The NAO said: “Sustainability is very high on the agenda. 
We are looking at the highest BREAM rating. As it is a listed building the changes will be mostly refurbishment.”
Working Closely with Mitie Engineering Services (SE) Ltd Stourflex provided a full range of their Expansion and Anti-Vibration products.
Part of the mechanical consultant’s specification called for bellows conforming to DIN4809. Stourflex were able to supply their JP06 EPDM Rubber Bellows with Kevlar reinforcement which was fully compliant with the specification and demonstrates that bellows have a life expectancy in excess of 10 years.
