Leicester Grammar School, one of the UK’s leading independent education establishments is relocating from the city centre to its new home at Mount Farm, Great Glen, Leicester .
The £30 million project will see the school’s current facilities (located in multiple city centre sites) bought together at one, 72-acre location. The new facility will accommodate the main school as well as the junior school and will incorporate first class academic and sporting facilities. It is expected that the school will take occupation of the new site in autumn 2008.

Working alongside F G Skerritt Ltd, the specialist mechanical, electrical and building services contractor. J & P Supplies provided a range of axial expansion joints, pipework anchors and guides. The joints supplied included the WRAS approved JP116VS and JP115 axial expansion bellows along with Expansion joint Fixed Point Anchors and Guides. 
The JP170 Fixed Point Assembly were supplied in Kit Form enabling F G Skerritt to assemble on site and match to their installation requirements. The JP150 Expansion Joint guides are fitted with glass fibre reinforced silicon free Polyphenleyene sulphide slide rails which are designed to provide for low friction, which helps to reduce the forces created by a heating system.
