Leeds United football club
has opened a new football training academy which includes a three
quarter size pitch, indoor hydrotherapy pool, medical centre and
physiotherapy unit. Within the mechanical services package, the
heating and chilled water systems needed to be protected from damage
caused by dirt, air, sludge and solid particles.
 If
these particles and dirt are not removed from the system, efficiency
is severely reduced. A build up of dirt in the system will lead
to increased pressure drops, blockages and premature failing of
components.
J & P Supplies provided our stainless steel Non-Air®
range of air and dirt separators with built in strainer.
The 150mm separator is manufactured from lightweight corrosion resistant stainless steel and fitted with swivel flanges for ease of installation.
The contractor selected the Stourflex JP504 with built in strainer. This enabled cost savings to be made on the project, as no other filters were required on the system.
